Reflection:
My experience in working in the growth mindset project made me more motivated on trying new things. When working on the project I learned that by trying new things I learn more and I learn from my mistakes. The growth mindset project made me see how I think was that if I am given a challenge and don't try I am not going to learn from my mistakes if I am not trying. Another way how the growth mindset project made me see how I think was that I was more on the Fixed Mindset and me want to change to have a better mindset. The growth mindset project helped me by not giving up and learning from my mistakes.

A growth mindset helps people understand that their talents and abilities can be developed through effort, good teaching, and persistence. Some ways a growth mindset contributes to different disciplines are education, athletes, and family/parenting. Carol Dweckś studies on growth mindset and education prove that a growth mindset helps students learn more, do better in school, learn from the mistakes, and keeps them motivated, and confident in challenges. Growth mindsets do not just apply to students, but also to athletes.A growth mindset gives athletes determination and hard working skills.
    ¨The Crucible¨ F.I.N.D Reflection
One fact about ¨The Crucible¨ is that it was about a village called Salem where they accused people of being witches because they didn´t like the person or the person was acting weird. While reading/learning¨The Crucible,¨ I felt excited because I wanted to know what was going to happen next, the story gets you to want know what is going to happen next. A new idea that I learned while reading ¨The Crucible¨ is that back then and even now their is scapegoating. A personal decision that I will make based on my reading and understanding of ¨The Crucible¨ is that I will not try to scapegoat.

October Reflection
In reaching my goals is going pretty good, but at the same time I am having trouble on reaching them. I am reading books, but what is kind of keeping me from reading them is me being lazy. I am not participating that much in class,  what is keeping me to participate is I get shy and really nervous. Some weakness in this class is that when I get a bad grade on an assignment and others get a good grade, I feel down and when I am not participating and others are. As I a writer, I feel frustrated, I am not good at writing essays. Some problems that are challenging for me are essays. This month I want to get better grades on the WPW cards, to try to get them all memorized and to participate more to not feel bad, to say today I participated.
Freedom + Conflict
Some positives and negative impacts and contributions of freedom is that we have the freedom to do anything we want, but we also have some restrictions. Some positives and negatives impacts and contributions of conflict is that usually a conflict is negative thing because its a problem, their is no positive impacts when having a conflict. Some connections that freedom and conflict have is that when having freedom their may be some conflicts, because you could have freedom to do anything but not anything. For example, lets say you shouting out someone is going to attack us that may turn into a conflict because it may be true or false. In a way, they are kind of opposite like when having freedom you could create a conflict or not, and conflict you create that anything you do you´re suppose to do.

What does it mean to be American? What is “the American dream?”
To be an American it means to be a citizen of the United States. “The American Dream” - its like for example when Mexicans are coming here they are coming for the american dream, more freedom, more rights, better jobs, a new better life or future.

O Love! My Love!
By Esperanza Cazares

O Love! My Love! Our merry adventure
is about to end
the heart vessels are dying
the end of the road is new
But O heart! heart! heart!
Fallen cold and dead

O Love! My Love!
how times have passed
our noval times of joy,
went by fast
the precious moments
we have shared
I thank thee
Farewell, Now
